About this house sitting position in Lilydale
We would like to have a couple to stay on our 20 acre property in a self contained hexagon. (with woodheater ) Currently we have 12 alpacas, they need feed at night, some of the lucerne chaff (25kg bag) and some of the pellets(20kg bag). Clean and fill up their water containers. If the poo pile is big, shovel it up, and take it to a collection point. We have some pot plants that need watering. If you would like to, can do some gardening.
The alpacas sleep close to the house at night, but daytime they go down to the paddocks, so you need to open the gate for them. We have females and males, they are separate all the time. The land is undulating, including a bit of uphill walking.
We are flying to WA to see our children and the young grandson.
Lilydale is 25km NE of Launceston. In Lilydale there is an IGA, a Deli, a Hardware shop, Doctor's Surgery, Chemist, PO, Petrol Station. People are very friendly. No public transport.
