About this house sitting position in Mackay

Look across Whitsunday Islands for Christmas! Do you have a plan to be up near the Mackay area for Dec/Jan 2020?

I am a retired person living in Habana - 20kms north of Mackay - on 5 acres with lovely views over the ocean and Whitsunday Islands. Most of the land is dedicated to 'Land for Wildlife' with other areas of lawns and gardens - mostly auto-watered. The circular driveway has room for a caravan up to 23ft with power available.

I have a delightful inside cat, Lucy - so sitters would need to be present for mornings and evenings...she loves company. I also require some watering, including pot plants and filling of bird baths. Also collecting palm fronds.

The house sitter/s (preferably a couple) will need to be reliable, clean and tidy non-smokers who will care for my lovely home. You will need your own transport. References are essential.

The house just blows you away with the views 360 deg especially in the Turret ( so if u are thinking of a sit here bring ur binoculars) Maxine was a delightful owner of a beautiful house,and so proud of her oasis . Lucy was a delight too and although not a cuddly cat , did let you become her friend and would chat when there was something to say.We had a great time even if the weather wasn't the best. And would recommend this sit to anyone.

My assignment at Maxine's home stands out as being very special. She has created a spectacular property in a remarkable location.
