About this house sitting position in Marrickville

Hi

I'm heading away 23Dec24-7Jan25, and am looking for someone to mind my cat Kenji. He's a British Blue and is 11 years old. He's an early riser, and likes to bid you good morning.

This period includes Christmas and New Year.

I also have a lot of succulents on the balcony that need watering twice a week.

Marrickville is in Sydney's Inner West, and is 6kms from Sydney city centre, which is accessible by bus/train.

Marrickville is a bit of an indie suburb, with a lot of nice cafes, a couple of gin distilleries, several boutique breweries, cosy wine bars, and a live music scene across several small venues. There is a large Vietnamese community here, hence a lot of pho restaurants, and a traditional Greek restaurant almost next door. There's a walk/cycle way along the Cooks River all the way to Olympic Park/Parramatta in one direction (25km), or Cronulla in the other direction (12km).

My place is near Marrickville Town Hall. It's a large 2bdr apartment, with views to the city (see photos attached). Great location, close to shops (5 minutes walk to the supermarket), bus stop for buses to the city outside, and 15mins walk to Sydenham train station. If you need a car space I can arrange that in our basement parking.
