My husband, daughter and I live in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges, 30kms east of Melbourne. Our home is semi-rural and offers a peaceful, restorative lifestyle. We have magnificent views and enjoy BBQs on our deck, drinking in the beauty, in company with our two greyhounds, Henry and Sally. Henry and Sally are typical greyhounds. They love to SLEEP and appreciate a couple of walks each day – there are many options for nature walks in our area. Henry is a black, gentle giant and Sally is playful and sweet natured. Both dogs are affectionate and love cuddles. They do most of their living indoors, sleeping in family bedrooms, but love their morning zoomies in the large back-garden after the first pee of the day. Our preference would be to meet you before we leave for our break so we can introduce you to Henry and Sally and our home and garden – otherwise we will leave written instructions. We often walk the dogs into Emerald, our nearest village, which is a 4km trek through lovely countryside. We do most of our household shopping in Emerald and manage to drink copious amounts of coffee at the many cafes. There are also great pubs and restaurants to tempt you. We will leave our dog friendly Astra station wagon for your use while we are away. We have a large garden but generally only water the front area – not too arduous.
