House-Sitting Summary: Mittagong, Southern Highlands
We’re looking for a reliable, animal-loving house sitter to care for our home and pets while we’re away from Sunday 21 December to Sunday 18 January.
There is a brief overlap in the middle (around 5 January) where we will duck home for a few hours to collect things before heading off again, so the sitter would just need to be comfortable with that small visit.
About Our Home
We live on one beautiful acre in Mittagong in the Southern Highlands.
The home is four bedrooms, modern, comfortable, and fully set up with everything you’d expect:
Wifi
Smart TV
All the usual mod cons
Outdoor area with barbecue
Plenty of space and quiet
We also have a gardener and regular lawn maintenance, so there is no garden work or mowing required.
Our Pets
We have two very loved (and very friendly) animals:
Wags – our almost one-year-old golden retriever. He is a total sweetheart. He loves affection, enjoys a walk, and is just as happy chasing a ball or stick. Someone comfortable with dogs or used to walking them would be ideal.
Little Bro – our four-year-old cat. Independent, affectionate on his terms, and very easy to care for. He likes pats and company but prefers them separate from Wags.
Both pets simply need feeding, cuddles, safety, and company.
