About this house sitting position in Mount Cotton

Looking for an individual or couple who would like to house sit at our place and take care of our two cats over for 6 days over Christmas.

We have a single level, four bedroom home. The guest bedroom would be entirely for the use of our sitters, which is next to the main bathroom and movie room with all main subscriptions for your use, also available for your use, as well as the main kitchen and dinning area. We have laundry facilities and an outside area that looks out onto the bush.

We live next to a reserve so there are peaceful, easy bush walks on the doorstep and lots of wildlife to admire while sat on the patio. We always have bird seed available to put out, not a requirement but if you do it daily, you’ll be rewarded with lots of wildlife coming to feed.

We have two cats, Eddie and Chester. Eddie is a ginger manx who’s 11 years old, he’s very shy so will likely only come out of his hiding place to be fed or if he wants a pat. Chester is a ginger tabby who’s 5 and full of life, he wants to be where you are most of the time and loves attention. The cats generally don’t need a lot of care and will sleep through the day but they know if no one is home at night or over 24 hours, so we prefer a house sitter so they know someone is coming home at some point.

Open to negotiations for the care of our home and two cats! As it’s over Christmas, if there are some days you can’t be there, still message and let’s see if we can make it work.
