About this house sitting position in Mount Dandenong

We need someone to house sit our 3 Bedroom house at the top of Mount Dandenong in July/August. It's a cold time of year up here, we can't promise snow but we can promise lots of fog and cold nights - perfect for making use of the huge fireplace, Coonara log fire, under floor heating and gas flame heater. Only 45 minutes drive from Melbourne CBD but with an ambience that will make you feel like you've escaped to the country.
Established low maintenance gardens that will require very little attention if any throughout the winter months, but offer the perfect opportunity to sit and watch the abundant birdlife. We have 2 very friendly German Shorthair Pointers who are happy to spend the days outdoors but like to sleep indoors at night. (They love to cuddle).
There is a bus stop at the bottom of the street that services the route between Upper Ferntree Gully and Croydon Stations. Close to shops & restaurants and Dandenong Ranges National Park is literally a stone's throw away from the top gate, with easy walking access to Burke's Lookout and Skyhigh Observatory.
Large, flat asphalt driveway with plenty of room to park a caravan if required, plus garage space to keep your car safely undercover.
The house is split over three levels with a short set of steps between each. The rooms are tiled and feature floor to ceiling windows, plus there is a pond at the bottom of the garden, so it's probably not suited to families with very young children, however with easy access to the villages, cafés, galleries and gardens of the Dandenong Ranges, this would suit a retired couple, or anyone who wants to escape from the rat race of the city for a few weeks.
