About this house sitting position in Mount Richon

Hillside Retreat — Mt Richon / Perth Hills (single person or couple preferred)

Relaxed half-acre resort-style property in the Perth Hills — peaceful, secure and close to shops, Armadale train station and national parks. This spacious 4-bed, 2-bath home features multiple living areas (theatre, formal lounge, activity room), a modern kitchen, large alfresco with Bluetooth speakers, two ponds, a powered yoga retreat, and a big three-phase workshop.

Electric and water hookup available for caravans.

The important bits (sitter responsibilities):

Care for 6 Indian Ringneck parrots in an outdoor aviary — fresh food and water daily, basic interaction, aviary cleans.

Feed & monitor pond life (koi, goldfish and electric blue yabbies) and check pumps/filters (we’ll show you the simple routine).

Feed and check 2 reptiles (simple daily checks and feeding as instructed).

General garden upkeep: mow lawns, light weeding, sweep decks and keep outdoor entertaining areas tidy.

General house care and secure the property on departure. CCTV and security gates/shutters provide extra peace of mind.

Who we’re looking for
- Single person or couple
- Comfortable with birds, reptiles and pond maintenance.
- Prior pet-sitting or animal experience preferred.
- Responsible, tidy and reliable. We’ll provide a full orientation and written instructions.

- Smoking outside is fine.

Fully gated 2,017 sqm block, LED garden lighting, ducted evaporative cooling + split systems.

Home theatre with 100″ screen (use optional). Workshop and parking available if required (no heavy vehicle access without prior discussion).

Internet is able to be provided, at a cost of $99/Month. (We will be travelling away and paying for our own internet during this period also)
