We have a 5,000-acre cattle station in South-East Qld –Only 25 km from the nearest town of Mundubbera.
And require fill in Caretakers for our Valued Staff A long-term opportunity for the right couple
Duties include property maintenance and all aspects of day-to-day caretaking operations. This can be a physically demanding role at times with some heavy lifting involved. Since you will assume the role of homeowner whilst living on our property, You need to treat the place as such
1 bedroom cottage, satellite TV and WIFI provided. Mobile phone reception is available in the cottage and homestead areas. 27km from Mundubbera and approx. 3 hours from Bundaberg
JOB CRITERIA DO not APPLY IF YOU DON’T HAVE THESE SKILLS
• English speaking
• Drivers license
• Must have farm living experience
• Reliable, dependable, fit and tidy.
• Be self-motivated and like to work autonomously.
• Married or in a long term relationship, and you both are used to and love country living.
• You have a great work ethic, positive attitude and true respect for people, animals and equipment
• Diligent - ensure that the property is always clean, habitable and safe
• Have a strong attention to detail.
• Be a professional
• Have References
Required
• Fencing and farm machinery operation experience – slashing etc
• Experience with water runs, pumps and bores
• Water, mow and maintain garden
• Look after and clean main homestead
• Some administration/computer work would also be involved.
Desirable
• Basic machinery maintenance and repairs.
• Experience with cattle
