About this house sitting position in Myrniong
Hi we have a beautiful 2 storey house in Myrniong. We're musicians and play at festivals from time to time so need someone to look after our fur family. We spoil our pets, they're definitely part of the family.
Myrniong is a very small town. We have a renowned foodie hotel, but no other shops or amenities. Our house is on 1/4 acre block with very nice neighbours. A creek runs behind the house and we're near the Wombat Forest and Werribee Gorge, lots of bushwalking! Nearest town and train line is Bacchus Marsh, 45 mins from CBD. Bacchus Marsh has all the usual shops and services. It's 10 min drive away. We're 20 minutes from Melton, which is a small city, and half an hour from Ballarat, also a major regional centre.
The dogs need lots of company. We keep them in when we're out of the house. They sleep with us, so if you don't like dogs on the bed at night this might not be the house sit for you. They get a half hour walk a day. We don't like to leave them alone for more than 5 or 6 hours.
The cats like to have a pat and a lap now and then. They sleep in the attic room. We keep them in at night. Read more...
