Two-storey brick veneer, bathroom upstairs plus shower & toilet in the downstairs laundry. Open-plan kitchen-living area on ground floor, two bedrooms are offered upstairs, one with a double bed, one with a single, so there is room for a maximum of three people. There is a comfortable and sheltered outdoor living area. Gas heating inside, gas stove in kitchen. Located across the road (a busy one) from Narrabeen lake, about 30 mins level walk from surf beach and rock pool. 20 mins level walk to supermarket and express bus to city (B1, in about 40 minutes). The front entrance requires 33 steps up from the street, but this can be avoided by parking in the side street and using the back gate . There is an internal staircase from living area to bedrooms of 17 steps. The garage will be occupied, but there is off-street parking for a small car, and more off-street parking for another VERY small car or motorbike. Street parking generally in the area is not too bad, but worse during daylight on weekends. The main task for sitters is care and watering of a plant nursery, which will occupy about 30-45 minutes every day. Full written instructions will be provided. Pets, regrettably, are not welcome, because of a fur allergy in the resident family. Sitters must be non-smokers, and no smoking is permitted anywhere on the property. A single, or a couple or perhaps couple plus one, would be suitable sitters - perhaps permanent country dwellers with family on the northern beaches or in the north shore area. Read more...
