About this house sitting position in Northbridge

I live in a large old home in a wonderful leafy quiet neighbourhood, with harbour and valley views.
It's 10 mins drive / 20 mins bus to city, the house is old-style, with lots of knickknacks and a mix of old and new furniture. It's not modern or fancy, but it's very comfortable, north-facing and bright.
I have a 10kg, long-haired Jack Russel called Gizmo who is now fifteen years old, and is nearly blind and deaf but he's still quite fit and happy. He loves people but gets nervous meeting other dogs, so I keep him on a shortish leash. He loves a walk to the local café. He also wakes up once or twice in the night to go outside, but I'm trying other options for him, so as not to wake me up. He prefers someone to be with him most of the time, so I don't leave him on his own for more than about an hour. If you need to go out for the day, this house-sit wouldn't work for you. I am prepared to pay, because of this (I will discuss that when contacted).
My cat (11 y/o Cassie) needs feeding at least a couple of times a day, and enjoys knowing someone is around, even though she's quite reserved. She sleeps most of the time and loves her life of luxury, having been rescued from a big roadwork site a few years ago! She's an indoor cat who doesn't have much interest in going outside. She retired from that life years ago when she moved in here!
You have to be prepared to love native birds, and feed them once or twice a day. We get dozens of the usual: cockatoos, kookaburras, lorikeets, crested pigeons and a couple of magpies. I have all the different foods for the different birds. You can't be scared of birds, living here. Cockatoos land on your shoulder at feeding time and are very cheeky.
But it really is a tranquil, beautiful suburb, with a harbour swimming pool about ten minutes stroll away , and cafes and supermarket nearby.
You should have a wonderful Christmas staying here for a week.
