About this house sitting position in Ormeau

We are looking for a reliable, caring and respectful house sitter to stay in our home while we are away on holiday.
Our home is a clean & comfortable duplex located in Ormeau on the northern end of the Gold Coast, conveniently situated between Brisbane and Surfers Paradise.
The main responsibility is caring for our much-loved 6yr old GSD Chilli. Chilli is friendly and came to us as a rescue dog. She enjoys company and is happiest when she can remain in her own home and routine. she is however a ball addict.
Expected duties include:
• Feeding Chilli morning and evening, including any medication.
• Ensuring she has fresh water at all times.
• Providing daily walks and companionship.
• Keeping the house secure and tidy.
• Bringing in mail and parcels if required.
• Advising us promptly of any issues relating to Chilli or the property.
In the unlikely event that Chilli requires veterinary care, she is registered with our local veterinary clinic. Sitters will not be expected to pay any veterinary expenses. We will authorise treatment directly with the clinic and all invoices will be sent to us.
We are seeking a non-smoking sitter who will treat our home with care and respect. Previous experience with dogs, particularly medium-to-large breeds, would be highly regarded.
If possible,we would like to arrange a meet-and-greet prior to confirming the sit so that Chilli can get to know you and we can show you around the home and explain her routine. Read more...
