POSITION AVAILABLE FOR GUEST HOUSE/DOG SITTING WITH PAY

IN 2017, I will be going away on holidays for 2 – 3 weeks in January, 1 week Easter School holidays, 2 weeks in the School June/July holidays and same for September holidays.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

1. Looking after the house while I am away, this involves collecting mail, monitoring rubbish bins, keeping my section of the house clean, (I do have a cleaner who also comes for 3 hours per week, she does all guests areas), tending to the needs of guests, distributing toilet paper etc, checking that all common areas are clean and tidy.

2. Looking after 2 maltese. They have their own bedroom but come into my section of the house in the evening. They love their evening walk and heaps of cuddles.

3. If necessary, preparing rooms and washing sheets/towels etc

4. Meet and greet new guests, explaining the keys, showing them around the house etc.

5. Some yard work – mowing, whipper snipping.

YOU ARE ENTITLED TO:

1. Live in my section of the house which is private. You have an air-con area with 60” surround sound TV, large media leather lounge, modern kitchen, huge fridge, king size bed able to watch TV from bed, will be able to use part of walk-in wardrobe and own luxury ensuite with huge shower. Patio area with barbeque.
If you have a motorhome or caravan you will be able to use the covered carport. (If I rented this section of the house out on AIRBNB I would receive at least $80 per night for one person. Living in this section of the house is FREE of charge.)

2. You will also be paid $15 per day ($105 per week) for doing the above.

3. You will also be paid for the rooms that need to be prepared when guests check-out: Ensuite - $30, Other rooms - $20 and Bunkbed - $10. This involves washing and making the bed, dusting, general cleaning and vacuuming, putting out towels etc, making sure all common areas are clean before new guest arrives.

SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT/S MUST BE:

1. Not fully employed, retired or work from home. (So that you are here to meet and greet and prepare rooms, as check-ins and check- outs can happen on the same day.)

2. Mature.

3. You must be clean, know how to clean and know how to make beds.

4. Must love dogs, especially Ollie and Mollie.

5. You must possess, initiative, honesty, be friendly, able to get on with other people from different countries/cultures.

6. Being handy would be a bonus.

7. If both parties are happy and for consistency would like to have you for all the dates listed above.
