Fancy a Sunshine Coast Christmas and New Year?! We are looking for the right person/s to care for our 13yr old ginger girl Zissou, and also enjoy the silly season at the beautiful Sunny Coast.

Our place is located on Kawana Island in the southern half of the Sunshine Coast and is a wonderful waterside area with beautiful canal/ river walks and bike paths, as well as a local cafe and restaurant. You would enjoy your own bedroom (king bed) and bathroom (with separate loo), as well as the rest of the house. Wifi, AC and fans in the whole house (including bedrooms). Public transport is around but a car is more ideal- you'd be able to park off street in our driveway. It is only a 5min drive to a shopping centre and the beach, and only 20mins away to the south is Caloundra and to the north is Maroochydore. Noosa or Eumundi (great markets!) are only about 40mins away. Also around the same distance is the Hinterland which is fantastic for day trips and hikes. We are about an hour from Brisbane.

Zissou is an indoor only cat and is a healthy girl. She knows she is at the top of the family pyramid! She will mostly do her own thing however if you take a shine to each other she is an excellent companion and nap buddy. Her hobbies include sun napping, bed napping, grass eating, bed snuggles and meals. Sometimes a minute chasing the 'red light' but not often, why run when you can snooze?!

We really love a relaxing home so I also have quite a few plants to make our home space green and have an outside jungle feel. Only minimal plant care is needed so don't worry if your thumb is not quite green.

Prior house- sitting experience is ideal but we are really after someone who makes us feel comfortable leaving them with Zissou in our house, so are open to hearing from anyone. We'd be happy to host you for an extra night or two before we leave on the 20th Dec hand to introduce you to Ziss and the house. We have done many house sits ourselves and always valued the opportunity to learn the ins and outs with owner and pets for a day or two so we'd like to offer the opportunity too.
