About this house sitting position in Peachester

I go away on work fairly regularly and each time it is quite stressful finding someone to take care of my place and animals. There are two houses on the property - I usually AirBNB the other one out unless I have Housesitters in - however I was thinking that someone may be interested in a short lease (3 or 6 months) at very cheap rent (incl electricity etc) in exchange for taking care of the place for me when I go away. I am away for about a week or ten days around once a month.
BTW - the idea of a lease is just an idea - if you just want to do a sit for a fortnight or so when I’m away, that’s fine :). At present I have people in the house until after new year 2020 - let me know if you would be interested in some time next year?.
The sit is in a small rural property 15 minutes from Maleny or Beerwah, 30 minutes from Caloundra and less than an hour from Brisbane. Very quiet and peaceful yet not too far away from anything.
There’s a few cows, a lot of chooks, guinea fowl and ducks, 4 dogs and 6 inside cats here. Pretty much the animals are self sufficient as long as there’s someone to make sure that they have food and clean water - its up to you how much attention you give them!
The main reason for the sit is that a couple of the dogs are new and someone needs to keep an eye on them to make sure they dont jump out of the house yard and chase the cattle.
Apart from that - enjoy exploring the creek which cuts across the property and the river which is the back boundary. Or go out and enjoy everything that the Sunshine Coast and hinterland has to offer. Or just stay at home and enjoy the peace...
This housesit is in a rural area (although not remote), and will involve some ‘work’ such as occasionally feeding hay to cattle, feeding poultry or changing water in the duck pond. It is probably best suited to someone with a rural background, or someone who is considering a move to the country but wants to ‘try before they buy’.
