About this house sitting position in Penwortham

We live in the beautiful Clare Valley in rural SA about 1 1/2 hours north of Adelaide. Our little cottage is central to local wineries, restaurants, The Riesling Trail, and many other attractions. We have 5 chooks who graze in a little yard. Daily feeding, checking and topping up water, collecting eggs and shutting them up at night (lots of foxes about) is all that is required. We have a beautiful rag doll cat called Milo, he is a real character and is bound to keep you entertained. Daily feeding and cleaning his litter tray is required. He is mainly an Indoor cat but likes to go outside a bit and we have a cat harness to take him for walks around the garden. The garden will need some watering however we have a couple of watering systems , and plants on the verandah will require watering a couple of times.

“Lovely house-sit with a beautiful garden to water and 4 chooks to care for. Meredith and Mal are very organised and provided clear instructions including a written guide. The area offers a lot of activities but it is also a peaceful location. We felt very welcomed and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend for others interested in the Clare Valley and would happily sit again.”
