About this house sitting position in Port Elliot
We live in a little seaside village an hour from Adelaide in a small 3-bedroom cottage, open plan dining/living room, 10 min walk to the beach. We have front and back gardens (won't need much care in winter) and undercover car parking.
The back yard has a large sheltered porch and is a good place out of the wind to catch the sun.
We seek a sitter for one week for the house, garden two dogs and a cat. Then we will be home of a day or so and leave for around 2 months. We will then take the dogs with us, but likely leave the cat behind (she will be 17 years by then).
She may cuddle up on a blanket on your lap.
We are not totally sure about our dates yet, but definitely need someone from 24 July 2020.
It would be great to have house sitters whose end date is flexible.
It gets chilly here in winter, but some beautiful walks very close by, great bay for swimming in a wet suit, nearby heated pool, whale watching season, lots of beaut places to dine - some with lovely wood fires, great local produce in village stores, oodles of wineries and local art studios to wander through. You can basically buy everything here without getting in your car.
Must be non-smokers.
