About this house sitting position in Preston

We have a 3br family home close to all amenities and require house & pet sitting and garden/plant care for approx 1 week from 23 December.

We have two Burmese cats - one is a big scaredy cat who will (eventually) warm up and the other is much more brave. Indoor cats only, with permamanent access to an outdoor enclosure.

We have a vegie garden and lots of pot plants around the property, indoor and out that will require watering. The vegie garden has been planted out so will definitely require looking after with watering and pest control.

We have reliable NBN, subscriptions to multiple streaming services, split system air con, ducted heating, dishwasher and bbq. The house is old but comfortable and secure.

We are very close to the tram, with other public transport not far away and a lovely local group of shops including a small supermarket, cafes, bakery, gelateria and pharmacy. A short drive or pleasant longer walk to even more shopping/bars and cafes. Lots of lovely parkland and walking/bike trails close by.

Ideally you will be working from home or spending a good deal of time in the house as the cats very much need a lap to sleep on and are fed 2-3 times a day.
