About this house sitting position in Romsey
My have a beautiful Victorian home with heritage overlay which is situation on large block of land, and there is a large garden. There is a fire in the loungeroom, unfortunately my restored original combustion stove has not been re installed in the kitchen yet but work has begun. Also there is underfloor heating in all rooms if required.
My family comprises of 2 dogs Monty & Toby, 2 cats Ellie and Georgie, 9 chickens Ethel, Lizzy, Henny and Penny, Mico, Charlie 2 , a rooster called Chester and a duck Susy. All my animals are very friendly (though careful of Georgie when he is hungry and waiting to be fed as he isn't very patient), and they much loved and well looked after.
I seek house sitters who will take very special care for my pets, poultry and my home. I provide a schedule for the animals and also basically outlines what I would like done on a regular basis - i.e. vacuuming, cleaning etc. I would send the schedule so you can read it and then we can it together if you have any questions.
Specific requirements: walking my dogs for an hour each day, they love that and the cats, well all they want is to be feed each morning, and the kitty litter cleaned weekly. Lots of pats for the dogs and as Georgie normally outside as he loves the outdoors, and usually only comes inside even in winter in the morning to be feed. Ellie is 16 years and she mainly stays inside .
I like the house well looked after, kept clean and tidy. Outside pot plants may need some water sometime on the front verandah and lawn shouldn't need mowing mowed as it is winter. Leaves will be raking , they need to be disposed of in the green waste bin. Generally keep the garden neat, tidy and weeded as needed. Otherwise just relax and enjoy your stay.
Romsey's a lovely town with a friendly community and it's only about 20minutes to all the towns in the Macedon Ranges. The Macedon Shire has lots to offer so much to see, many wineries, gardens etc and this time of the year its bloody cold but still beautiful. Read more...
