About this house sitting position in Sandgate
Looking for a short break (one week) at the seaside? I offer a low set “cottagey” double brick home 3 blocks from the beach and facing lagoon parkland. Shady old-fashioned garden,(bit neglected😒 but still pleasant.) Two dogs, both female. Hattie is an elderly tricolour collie, gentle, very sociable, still keen on the world, likes walks and is healthy (people keep telling me she looks good) but that depends on aware care and she is on medication. (She is easy to medicate or so other sitters have said.) Zoe is a younger blue merle sheltie very smart, gentle and loving and very lively. No medication involved.
The dogs are my reason for seeking a house sitter. I will leave meals prepared, set arrangements with vet etc., I'd like the garden watered, (have tank water), mail cleared etc
I can provide a garage but not a car.
Sandgate has excellent eating, fish 'n chips to restaurants and pubs, an active community life (you'll be here for the monthly Music-By-the-Sea Concert!)and has good rail and bus services (35 mins train to city.)
