About this house sitting position in SCAMANDER

Hello,
We are Denis and Ann, a couple running a farm in Scamander, north east Tasmania. We will be going away 15th July and return on 24th August.. We are looking for a reliable, honest, practical house sitter (prefer a couple) for this period but as we have an independent house to where we live it is not necessary to leave as soon as we return. We have an orchard and berry farm but all the plants are dormant in winter so there is not much to do on the farm. We operate a shop on the farm which is very quite in winter..
We have chickens, geese and 2 dogs. One dog is a kelpie who needs to be walked or exercised each day as she has abundant energy. the other is 14 and very independent. We are looking for people who are more or less homebodies and not people wanting to have a base so they can go touring and come back when it suits them!.
We have a comfortable timber house with a wood heater, new gas stove and most mod cons. There is plenty of firewood cut but as we have 150 acres we don’t have far to go to get more.
Scamander is a very pretty town of approximately 500 people on the ocean and the Scamander River. There is basic shopping here but it is only 20kms to St, Helens which is a much larger town where one can source most things.
This part of the east coast is the warmest in Tasmania and often 5 degrees warmer than Hobart or inland Tasmania as it is sheltered from the westerly winds.
