Looking for house sitter for Canberra this December 2022 with a love of dogs. Poppy Blue is a 2 year old Cattle Dog - very much part of the family and sleeps in doors. Very much a people person: she has basic obedience: walks well on the lead, sits on command, retrieves a ball and has fear recall (its more about saying hello to other dogs at the ball park. She walks past the wild peacocks, but have no desire to test her with Kangaroos in the reserve. The vet is close by. Our home is located on a quiet street in the inner south, with easy access to Red Hill, Mount Mugga and Walking racks in the area. Local shops are a short 5 min walk. Even the Lake Burley and Parliament House precinct is within walking distance for those that enjoy longer walks. We are looking for someone comfortable with dogs that love to walk, and will exercise Poppy each day. There is routine garden support to move and tidy the paths, so you may enjoy the sights of Canberra. There are wonderful markets, arts, wineries all within short drives. Nothing is ever far in Canberra. For us, its about security, and peace of mind for the home and Poppy whilst we spend time travelling.
