About this house sitting position in ST KILDA EAST

We're Jason , Katie and dog Charlie. We're off to visit Grandma for her 90th on the Sunshine coast and are taking the time to 4wheel it all the way up for 4 weeks! Sadly, due to all the national parks we plan to visit, we just can't take Charlie on this trip :(

Charlie has been a member of our family for 8 years, we got him as a rescue so don't actually know how old he is. He is across between old man (at home) and spritely young pup (at the park). He can be a chiller, and loves to snuggle on the couch with you in the evening or go for a walk, will sleep all day if you aren't home. He is easy going and likes to be involved in what ever we're doing if it suits to have him along. He can be a tug master on the lead, but great off the lead at the park and will come back when called.

We'll also be leaving a collection of bonsais and pot plants that we'd rather not lose to the summers heat. They may need some moving out of the sun or inside and regular watering to keep happy in our absence.

We live in a great quiet location in St Kilda East, trams 1 minute away, supermarket, parks, cafes, Chapel St, and more only a walk a way. If you are a sports lover then this could be a great opportunity to get to the tennis or cricket only 20mins away in Melbourne's fantastic sports precinct. The beach is a 5 minute drive and Charlie would love to come with you if it's not too hot! The tram will take you to the city in 25mins. Catch a concert while you are here, you wont be bored!

Our place is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathrooom + study, comfortable home with air con. BBQ out the back, lovely neighbours, dining space. Smart TV with Netflix account ready for you to take advantage of, internet, loads of books you're welcome to work through. The study is a great place to tap away on the keyboard if need be. Dishwasher and laundry make day to day living a breeze.

We'd like someone to treat this place as their own and enjoy all that it has to offer. Collect the mail for us, put the bins out, keep it clean and tidy and return it to us in the same condition we left it. Look after Charlie and the plants and be able to go home having had a lovely time in your own home away from home.

If you you want a day off to do a day or over night trip of your own, we have friends that could mind Charlie for a night to facilitate this. Read more...
