About this house sitting position in Strathmore
Hello we are looking for dog loving housesitters to mind our home and pooches from late April till the middle of June. Our two boxer dogs are 9 and 11 years old and love everyone. They can have 5 minutes of madness when you come home or when food or walks are happening but most of the time they are chilled out and snoozing somewhere close to where the humans are.
We live on a sometimes busy small road and it is relatively close to trains, approx 10mins walk. We are renting a townhouse here and it has been a bit of a change for the dogs not having a lot of room to run around in but they are getting on and happy to sleep most of the day. They are very easy to look after and still fit and active but they have slowed down and we would like a person or persons who would have the patience to move at their speed. We would like to attract housesitters who would enjoy walking the dogs and wouldn't be absent for long periods of time during the day or evening.
Our house is close to a strip of shops that has a wide range of food options, a small IGA and a couple of restaurants. All really good quality and just 2mins walk. Dog walking can also finish at the shops if you would like to sit and have a coffee before the last 2mins home.
