About this house sitting position in Sunshine Coast - Yandina (15min to Coolum Beach)

4yr old, modern home with large back yard in beautiful Yandina - charming country-style town with an historic pub & beer garden, excellent Thai with outdoor deck dining & Indian Restaurant/Take-away, Belgium Beer Garden & Wine Bar, Fish & Chip take-away, Pizza & Pasta take-away, 14 cafes, great IGA supermarket, large health & wholefoods store, bulk billing family clinic, hair dressers, boutiques, galleries and more. The famous Spirit House Restaurant & Cooking School is also in Yandina, as well as the Ginger Factory. Yandina also has a great Saturday morning market.
Nambour is only a six minute drive away with Woolworths, Coles & Aldi, RSL etc.
There's Golf Course 7 minutes down the road.
You're only a 15 min. drive away to gorgeous Coolum Beach, 10 min. to Eumundi (famous Markets), 25min. to Maroochydore, Mooloolaba and Noosa beaches
We are seeking mature, reliable, clean and tidy house sitters, ideally with references to look after our home and, most importantly our fur-child, Ruby (tabby-cat), while we are in Europe. Ruby is shy with strangers at first, very affectionate once she gets to know you. You will need to enjoy giving tummy rubs and chin and ear scratches :-) Ruby has had a bad experience with a dog, so would prefer house-sitters without a dog. Ruby is an indoor/outdoor cat (back yard mainly, but does visit the neighbours occasionally).
We're very house proud, therefore, we like to keep the home and garden in good condition, so would expect that the home is cleaned regularly, the garden watered, etc. while we are away.
Accommodation would be in the guest bedroom with full use of house except our bedroom, ensuite and wardrobe.
The garage will be occupied with one of our our cars (the 2nd will be stored at friends). The drive-way will be available and there is also off-street parking.
Your bedroom has a queen-bed, mirrored double-wardrobe, etc. but you'll also have run of the house, which includes an open-plan, modern, well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher & french-door fridge/freezer, retreat-style bathroom with large tub and separate shower, a laundry with front-loading washing machine, an office, a media room with large screen TV with surround-sound & extensive library, a family/dining room with large flat-screen TV. There is also a large under-cover patio with outdoor lounge, dining & BBQ. Tropical garden with sun-lounges.
The Winter evenings can get a little cool but we have reverse-cycle heating/air-conditioning in the main living area and media room.
We have a top-notch robotic vacuum cleaner to do the daily cleaning between weekly manual thorough-clean.
We would provide cat food for duration of stay.
We would welcome sitters, who would also mow lawns and weed garden beds in our absence. Mower and tools supplied.
Wifi, electricity and gas are included.
Small, quiet estate with great neighbours, who will make you feel welcome.
