About this house sitting position in Sunshine Coast - Yandina (15min to Coolum Beach)

3yr old, modern home with large back yard in beautiful Yandina - charming country-style town with historic pub, excellent Thai & Indian Restaurants, take-aways, 14 cafes and great IGA supermarket. The famous Spirit House Restaurant & Cooking School is also in Yandina, as well as the Ginger Factory. You're only a 15 min. drive away to gorgeous Coolum Beach, 10 min. to Eumundi, 25 min. to Maroochydore, 6 minutes to Nambour with Coles Woolworths, Aldi, Cinemas and multiple restaurants and RSL.
Seeking mature, reliable, clean and tidy house sitters, ideally with references, while we are in Europe. Being house proud, we like to keep the home and garden in good condition, so would expect that the home is regularly cleaned, the garden watered, etc. while we are away. Primarily, we are looking for a couple to look after our cat Ruby. Shy with strangers at first, very affectionate once she gets to know you. You will need to enjoy giving tummy rubs and chin and ear scratches :-) Ruby has had a bad experience with a dog, so would prefer house-sitters without dog. Ruby is an indoor/outdoor cat (back yard mainly, but does visit the neighbours occasionally).
Accommodation would be in the guest bedroom with full use of house except our bedroom, ensuite and wardrobe.
The garage will be occupied with our cars, however, drive-way and off-street parking available.
Apart from "your" bedroom with Queen Bed and mirrored wardrobe, the house includes a retreat-style bathroom, laundry with front-loading washing machine, office, media room with large screen TV with surround-sound & extensive library, family, dining & kitchen with dishwasher, french door fridge/freezer, 90cm gas stove / electric oven. Large under-cover patio with outdoor lounge, dining & BBQ. Tropical garden with sun-lounges.
We have a top-notch robotic vacuum cleaner to do the daily cleaning between weekly manual thorough-clean.
We would provide cat food for duration of stay.
We would welcome sitters, who would also mow lawns and weed garden beds while away.
