About this house sitting position in TAMBORINE MOUNTAIN

Nestled in the beautiful Tamborine Mountain with breathtaking views of the Gold Coast, our home is a comfortable retreat surrounded by nature. The neighbourhood is friendly, with wonderful neighbours nearby, and a gardener takes care of the lawns, so no outdoor maintenance is required. However, if you are in to gardening there is plenty off opportunity to potter around the garden.

We are on tank water, so sitters need to be mindful of water usage, but there’s no need to scrimp – just be aware of conservation. Our septic system is grey-water recycling so we will provide appropriate cleaning products.

We have 2 dogs and a cat. The cat is a totally inside cat (despite what he might try to tell you). The dogs are also used to someone being home most days and being inside keeping me company as I work from home most days. So we are looking for someone that can also spend most days at home. They dogs also sleep inside at night. River - our cat is around 17 years old and starting to slow down. Corby, tan Aussie Terrier x is 14 and Kira, black Lab x, is 5 years old.

One of the highlights of staying here is the abundance of native birdlife. Each day, Kookaburras, Rainbow Lorikeets, and King Parrots visit our home, and many of them can be hand-fed, making for a truly special experience with Australia’s beautiful wildlife.

2 bedroom, 1 study & 1 bathroom (additional separate toilet). Large open format living area with a custom designed, chef worthy kitchen.

Separate lower story houses my art studio, extra bathrooom and the laundry. Circular staircase access downstairs from the deck or down the side driveway. Please note that access to downstairs may be difficult for anyone with mobility issues.

Plenty of room to park a second car. Not suitable for caravans or boats due to steep curved driveway access. Read more...
