About this house sitting position in Taringa

I'm looking for a pet and house sitter for Millie from August 14-18 and October 2-30 in Taringa, if all goes well the first time.

Millie is a super friendly, energetic 6.5-year-old brown Labrador. We live in a one-bedroom apartment with a courtyard in a leafy suburb. It’s peaceful here and within walking distance to the dog park, Toowong Village, and close to the city. You can catch a bus, train, ferry or cycle into the city by the river.

Millie’s daily routine includes walks day and night for at least 30 minutes to an hour after meals. She eats kangaroo meat and tuna for each meal, with apples and/or carrots as snacks between breakfast and dinner. Sometimes I add raw eggs to her meals and sprinkle chia seeds to boost her immune system. Some say she eats better than I do! ?

Millie loves playing catch but can get easily distracted. Treats work wonders to get her attention, though she can be a bit of a snatcher. I usually put the treats in my fist and ask her to wait or be gentle before giving them to her. With a bit more training, she might stop snatching.

Besides caring for Millie, I'd need help to maintain the plants and keep the place clean as if it were your own. It’s not a big place but it is spacious. Perfect for a single lady or a couple who is active and loves goofy and adorable big dogs like Millie. Read more...
