, PLEASE READ CAREFULLY , THE DATE ARE here are ONLY INDICATIVE JUST A DATE BRACKET As i am flexible with dates
i would like a person who get used to Gus to start with for a couple of weeks and then can in the future , next years , be available for longer stay if possible

this is NOT suitable for a whole family ,

this position is best suitable for a single person who will have full access to my independent granny flat or a couple if they travel with their van or caravan. Gus is not used to be left "all day" alone every day , so this position NOT suitable for a person working from 9 am to 5 pm outside of the property every day of the week .

when i am away , friends from Brisbane ,stay over sometime in weekend in my main house , but this is totally independent from the studio and even different entrance and drive ways .
personally , my plan change recently and i cannot not go overseas yet , but i need to travel interstate time to time to Sydney for medical issues .


The person interested must have a knowledge of ACD , ( Australian cattle dog )as my rescue dog , GUS is only 2 years old and even that he has only 3 legs he is very active and energetic , he is a red heeler cross kelpie , very friendly , but need an assertive person to contain and focus his energy .
he is still on training so it is important to keep practicing few simple comment and direction , but essential to be firm and regular .
NO need for any others responsibilities, ONLY GUS care , as the property is maintain by a regular Gardener .


, his routine most days is
we drive ( 15 minutes ) to the Noosa doggy beach early morning or the lake nearby for a good 1 or hours intensive running , swimming and play ,
then we back home by 8 .30 am 9 am , very hot in summer after that in Noosa ,
during the day ,he rest inside the house with the air conditioning or in the garden in the shady place .
at around 4 pm , as it is cooler outside ,
i take him for a walk around my house to a park to play or the little beach by the Noosa river (as I lives walking distance to the Noosa River ).
, important , i do not take him out in the heat of the day , and he is not really a dog to walk in busy space and middle of town , he is much too young and active to be sitting in a coffee shop ,( well you can !!!, but you will get lots of attention from people , and Gus want to visit all the table for cuddles and attention . and he is strong !! lol ..)

This are an Australian cattle breed dog , not really suitable for the city , i only rescue him as he was was find injured , abandoned in the suburb of Brisbane and the Rescue place had to have back leg had to be amputated .

HE is around 2 and a half years old , ,
very social and he loves every one and all doggies and cats , but he will take off after the chooks if not in lead ..( he is learning that not to run after the bush turkey) ..he could play all day long .. he is good with paddling with me on the sub or my kayak , or my boat
he totally love the water .
GUS is a bundle of love , however, he require an ASSERTIVE person who are used to medium large puppy dog .
This breed need mental stimulation as well as physical , . I am learning too about this breed and 'every thing you will see on "youtube" about bleu and red heeler is nearly totally true !!!!!! lol ..
Gus does not destroy any thing , never had , only his toys of shot toys that i buy for him and he is allowed to ..

in the heat of the day , Gus is happy resting inside .he , and doing his siesta as you can see in the picture .
you will have access to reside to a full equipped studio (granny flat ) independent in my property .
large garden all fences secure , , , ..ect ..room for caravan or van to park in my property if you wish so .

it is IMPORTANT AND I INSIST ( no exception ) to meet and greed in PERSON prior to commit to care for Gus ( having been myself a doggy siter on this web site you can see my references and i always did take the time and efforts to meet the doggy or cats and their owner person prior to any commitment especially long term )happy to chat on video first BUT WE MUST MEET IN PERSON to see the connection between Gus and person

Gus is registered with Noosa council and he is insured for all events or accidents and up to date with all vaccination .And i have always on standby , a local person, at her farm to mind him , or and my friend Caroline or Emily who loves him and can mind him overnight in case you need to go away for few days or emergency situation .

be aware that i do not have fix internet , I personally used my own phone as hot spot , and it works fine ,so you will need your own internet , or you can access to internet to Noosa library if you wish which is bicycle distance from my house
