About this house sitting position in Townsville

I have a beautiful 4 bedroom home at the end of a quiet street in the beach side suburb of Bushland Beach in Townsville. I share my home with my amazing white german shepherd.

I am looking for a house/dog sitter for the 3-13 Dec & again on the 24th Dec - 9th of January. I will be home for the period in between, but would be happy for you to continue staying in the house if you wanted to.

My shep, 'Wolfie' is a one of a kind dog. I say this because he is HUGE. Practically twice the size of a standard shepherd. He is however the most sweet natured loving dog you will ever meet. He wants to be with you all the time and just love pats and cuddles. He is well trained, obedient and loves his walks. You must be happy to have him inside with you when you are home as he spends most of his time inside including sleeping inside (dont worry, he is house trained! - you just have to be willing to vacuum often!). I leave him outside when I go out though. It would be my preference for you to have had some experience with Shepherds before, as they are a breed you need to understand. You must be willing to and capable of walking him daily, otherwise he will drive you crazy out of boredom!

As for the house, as I said above, it is at the end of a quiet street. My neighbours are amazing (no crazy parties etc) and if you need a hand at all, they are always happy to help where they can. I am about 15mins walk to the beach or a 2 min drive. The yard/gardens are easy to maintain and the house is big and open plan!

Being December that I require a sitter, it will be very very hot here. Dont worry, the whole house has aircon and you will get a good seabreeze in the house also.
You will just need to take care to ensure 'Wolfie' has water and isnt walked when it is hot as he will overheat easily.
