About this house sitting position in Uki

Does anyone out there feel like Christmas in the rainforest ? If you live mountain landscape,baby goats,dogs and cats this could be the perfect place for you!

We are readvertising due to our arranged sitter pulling out for family reasons.

We are looking for housesitters over Christmas from Christmas Eve to 3 rd January.

Our property is on the outskirts of the lovely Tweed Valley village of Uki at the foot of Mount Warning.
We are 45 mins from the Gold Coast,45 mins to Byron Bay and 20 mins from Murwillumbah (the nearest town with great cafes and supermarkets)
We have 80 acres of forest and pasture. Our house is spacious,modern and solar passive with fantastic mountain views. There are high ceilings and mountain breezes and ceiling fans to keep you cool and ample solar hot water.
We do have air conditioning in the main bedroom but need it only afew times a year.
We have unlimited wifi if you need to work while you are here.

We need someone (or a couple or family) who loves animals,who can feed 6 female goats and their kids plus care for one very friendly labrador and 3 cats, one of whom is blind,elderly and needs once daily liquid medicine plus lots of cuddles.

If you feel like goats milk or cheese the goats can be milked but as they will have kids on them it's not necessary!

Veterinary back up provided in emergencies as we have connections with the local practice, so no worries if any of the animals are unwell.

Children and well behaved pets very welcome.
