About this house sitting position in Wandi WA 6167
WELCOME!
We are heading back to the UK for a wedding in August and are looking for house sitters from 15th August to 8th September.
So, a little bit about us...
My husband Joe, daughter Evie and I (Laura) live in our brand new home in Wandi (5 minutes from Cockburn).
Our house has a theatre, study, open plan kitchen, living and dining, as well as a garden and alfresco area.
We are located 20 minutes from the city of Perth, and about 30 mins from Fremantle.
You will have you own section of the house with your own bathroom and seperate toilet. We also have wi-fi and Netflix for you to use at your leisure.
We have ducted, reverse cycle air conditioning throughout the house.
Buses run from the corner of our street, that take you direct to the train station (Cockburn Central) which run to Perth and Fremantle.
You are most welcome to borrow Laura's Car for the duration of your stay if you'd like (manual transmission), we just ask you replace the fuel.
The most important part of our home (other than our baby girl) is our fluff puffs, as we like to call them.
We have a beautiful dog : blue heeler cross Max (Male, 5yrs) and 3 scrumptious cats : Sox, Kiko & Alice (females, all 4 yrs old).
We absolutely adore our animals and their care is very very important to us!
They are all very affectionate and loving, and would never scratch, bite, or hurt you.
Max is a real character and loves to go out for walks and to chase his ball, he also loves beach walks. There are trails and bush walks around us.
Max loves to be with you, he's a snuggler, and likes to sit up on the couch with you whilst you watch tv!
He always sleeps inside at night on his own bed in our living room (or on the couch!). Max must get walked at least once a day.
Our cats will sit on your lap in the evening for a hug and a pat :) they like to be near you and are very sweet.
Our cats are free to roam from about 7am until about 5/6pm when they come home for dinner, and we lock the pet door for the evening (they will be in and out the house all day but they sleep in at night to avoid disturbing/catching of nature).
Our animals are very well behaved, are toilet trained, none are on any medications, and they are fully insured too!
Joe and I are both relaxed, and like to take things in our stride. We love travel, cooking and catching up with friends for wine and food.
We do not allow other animals into our home whilst we are away (even family or friends dogs/cats) our cats get frightened if other animals come in to our place... this is their home and we wouldn't want them to feel threatened in any way.
We would also appreciate it if the house sitter/s are the only people sleeping in our home whilst we are away, we do not mind visitors for dinner, movie nights etc, but would prefer to know/have met each person sleeping in our home.

You need to be reliable, caring and responsible, making sure the house is locked up every time you go out.
