We would love you to look after our cat, our house, the fish and the garden.
Our 10 year old cat is quite timid, though will be very loving of company and cuddles when he gets to know you. He is an indoor cat though is allowed out in the back garden in the morning (when we sit outside with coffee or tea), and at other times if we're there with him. The fish are in a pond in the back yard and require feeding, and the pond may need occasional topping up of the water level if the weather is extremely hot.
We have a very comfortable 4 bedroom 2 bathroom house which is very straightforward to look after, and you will have your own bedroom and bathroom for your stay. The house is nearly all double glazed making it comfortable in hot or cold weather, and there is a large reverse cycle air conditioner to help cool off on really hot days, as well as pedestal fans if needed.
There are gardens in the front and back to water (the majority of the front garden beds are on a drip system) and pots under the pergolas. It’s a very relaxed and relaxing environment. Parking is off street in a long driveway with plenty of room for tandem parking of two vehicles.
We're in the locality of Weston Creek in Canberra. Our house is in short walking distance of a suburban shopping centre with a large supermarket and 35 specialty shops, which is also a bus interchange, and linking to various bus routes. Read more...
