Summer is a wonderful time to visit Blue Mountains as there are many beautiful gardens and excellent bush walks.
We are located in the lower Blue Mountains 1 hour / 45 mins from both Sydney and Katoomba (Three sisters). With easy access by car and public transport (train station 5 min walk). There are also plenty of bush walks, lookouts and nature reserves only minutes away. Perfect for outdoor lovers from experienced to beginners. For those less active there are also plenty of beautiful villages to explore all the way up the mountains. With there cute cafes, arts and crafts, antiques and local markets they can be a wonderful way to spend your time off.
There is a very small convenience store 5 mins walk from our house or a larger strip of shops (Blaxland) with bakery, newsagent, supermarket, ATM and take away stores etc 5 mins by car or 15 by train.

Our house is a 3 split level design built on the side of a small valley descending onto bush lands. With two large verandas front and back we have plenty of room to admire the abundance of wildlife right outside our doorstep that greets us each day. From many breeds of native birds, lizards, possums and even wallabies at night. I have 3 beehives (who look after themselves).
I am a mature woman living with my female partner with our pet Ragdoll cat (Mushroom). I have four children between 27 - 34, My oldest son and daughter live near by and visit often. My son is a keen bush walker and is always eager to share the experience. I work full time.

You will have your own room with double bed and own bathroom. TV & WiFi included. All ages welcome, non smokers preferred. Gay friendly of course.
You would be required to feed Mushroom twice a day whilst we are away on holidays. She is a bit standoffish & neurotic but will soon come round when she realises you are her food source !
