About this house sitting position in Wavell Heights

Please note we are looking for a sitter who can commit to all three of the following sits with the possibility of further sits:
- 19-21 July
- 9-11 August
- 25-31 December
Modest 2 bedroom home located in Wavell Heights with good neighbours. Quiet suburb with lots of greenery and walking paths.
We are needing a house sitter to look after our home and Ruby, a 2 year old well mannered but energetic chocolate labrador.
We also have one low maintenance fish that will require feeding and garden beds to water depending on the weather.
About Ruby:
-almost 2 year old de-sexed female labrador
-loveable and well trained
-does not jump but is still excitable
-can be strong on the lead when other dogs are around
-happy to spend her weekdays at home alone (8-10hrs) without trouble provided her exercise needs are met (see below)
As our house sitter you MUST be willing to commit to:
-minimum 30min walk every morning (weather depending)
-short walk or yard play every evening
-allowing her inside in the evening to sit by your feet
-providing daily fresh water
-interactive feeding i.e. hiding meals around the yard & inside containers etc.
-MUST clean yard every second day minimum
-Ruby is an outdoor/indoor dog and is used to being left at home alone during the day (8-10hrs) however we would prefer a sitter who does not work long hours and will be able to devote time to her on the weekends.
About the house:
-House is a comfortable 2 bedroom home you will have access to spare bedroom with queen bed
-linen and towels supplied
-modern kitchen
-outdoor deck for relaxing in the morning sunshine
-lawn may require mowing depending on weather- mower is electric and easy to start
-some garden beds are automatic watering but otherwise will require watering twice weekly depending on weather
-no lock-up garage
-possible space for small caravan
About you, We are looking for:
-energetic and experienced sitter
-able to provide references from previous house sits
-police check and willing to provide photo ID
-willing to communicate with messages and photos during the sit
-will leave our home neat and tidy
-must be non-smoking & no drugs
-willing to take Ruby to the vets if required at no cost to you
Our preference is for someone local whom we can meet prior to confirming the house sit.
