Our house is a high set timber dwelling built in the 1950s and located on 670 sq m block in the suburb of West End in the city of Townsville, Queensland. West end is an older inner city suburb close to all amenties. We are keen on gardening and most of the allotment is landscaped or planted with some form of plantings. We have 2 small dogs, a miniature fox terrier and the other is some sort of hairy chuahua cross. They were sourced from the local animal refuge, not economically valuable, but are extremely valuable to us emotionally. We have been on 4 week long holidays before and left them quite successfully at a pet hotel.
The sitters main duties will be to maintain the garden mainly by keeping it watered and the grass mowed as well as looking after the dogs. The dogs need weekly baths, feeding 2 times a day and ideally regular exercise walks
We have used this service successfully for a 7week period in September/October 2015 using 2 separate groups of sitters.
