About this house sitting position in West Hobart
We have a large two-storey 1930s brick home that is currently being renovated, due for completion in July, so everything will be brand spanking new! House-sitter will have own bedroom, lounge and bathroom upstairs plus full bathroom downstairs. Lovely sunny full-glassed kitchen/dining area at the rear overlooking the garden. Our main concern is someone who will be fastidious in keeping our lovely new home clean and tidy, and also looking after our two dogs - the poodle-cross will be close to 18 by then, she is deaf and almost blind, but lovely and very precious to us - she sleeps most of the day but likes a couple of short (very slow) daily walks. The other (terrier-type) will be 1 year old and is very sweet and cuddly. Best suited to someone (or a couple) who is/are retired who can spend lots of time with the dogs as they are not used to being left alone for long periods. No photos of the inside of the house yet sorry as it's currently a building site, but am happy to take suitable applicants through.
West Hobart is walking distance to the shops/cafes in North Hobart, and also to the Hobart CBD. Great local cafes and pubs nearby, corner store just up the road, close to Knocklofty for bushwalks. Read more...
