About this house sitting position in West Woombye
Small 1940s Queenslander, privately set in 3 acres of native forest/pasture with a fenced in veranda to enjoy "outside" time with the indoor cats. 2 bedrooms/1 bathroom and small home office. Only 10 minutes walk/2 minute drive to Woombye town with cafes, IGA, railway station and other amenities. Stay in the bush surrounded by nature but be only 20 minutes drive from Maroochydore and Beaches.
There are four cats to cuddle, one of which needs a 20 min nightly walk on the lead.
There are external stairs / steps, and the land is natural, not manicured garden, so you have to be reasonably mobile, and expect to say hello to a possum, bandicoot or snake on your travels. With a mix of pasture and forest we get a wide mix of native birds visiting.
The chooks are in electric fencing. You can choose to look after them, feeding/collecting eggs daily or, if you are unsure, we can arrange for a neighbour to take care of them.
