About this house sitting position in Winmalee (Blue Mountains)
My husband and I are looking for a house sitter for 8 days in October to look after our two Miniature Dachshunds. In October they will be Abby 1 and Lucy 9 months. They are a very loveable breed, are protective, loyal, love food, sitting on laps, cuddling up, short walks (those little legs can’t go forever) and being near you without any demands. We find it is love at first sight for people on seeing them and going for walks, especially near shops, means constant stops. This would be the first time we have left them in care and they are our major consideration. We would prefer people who are going to be around but by all means able to go out as they are happy being left. You will just be welcomed home like you’ve been gone for months!
Our garden is native and so only occasional watering would be required.
Our home is in a lovely position in the Mountains overlooking the National Park. A very comfortable home facing north. We are close to shops, walking tracks, Springwood is 5 min drive and Penrith is 30 mins down the Mountain.
Our last request is that Doxies are very well known for sleeping with their owners and this would be the first and foremost request that I have from the house sitter.
