About this house sitting position in YAROOMBA
A lowset brick home set on a sloped 880sqmt block at the top of a quiet cul de sac. There are only 5 houses in the street and its a peaceful neighbourhood only a 5 minute drive to the beach. We have a steep paved driveway with a carport. The home has 3 bedrooms and a large study - the main bedroom has a small ensuite and a beautiful view of Mt Coolum from the window. The main bathroom has a bath and shower. As the house has been built into the slope we have rock retaining walls around two sides of the home and the yard is fully fenced. The block has several trees with palms and natives and has a natural bushland feel and is very private. There is an entertainment area and pergola at the back of the house.
As there are many trees in the area the outside pavers will require regular sweeping of leaves. The gardens and plants are fairly low maintenance but will require watering and some weeding from time to time. Lawns will require regular mowing. The pavers under the pergola and driveway will require weeding out or hitting with a weed wand on a weekly basis to prevent overgrowth of weeds. We supply the wand and weedkiller.
We prefer quiet, mature sitters who enjoy garden maintenance and homecare. Non smokers only please as this is a totally smoke free home. As we are offering a 13 week house stay we will require payment towards electricity, water, NBN and Netflix. It will be a minimal amount to cover your stay. Read more...
