About this house sitting position in Yarragon south

We are looking for a retired couple to house sit for us from July 15th until about September 1st
We live on a two and a half acre property in gippsland near the small towns of Trafalgar and Yarragon that is all garden. Mowing with a ride on would be appreciated during the time that we are away but not essential as there is little growth in winter. Weeding etc can be done if and when necessary.
What we do need is someone to love and care for our ten year old border collie who is very deaf and needs the security of being in his routine. He loves to be around people that will spend time outside and take him for short walks around the property. He likes to be inside when we are and sleeps most of the time. Monty does require daily medication which is added to his nightly meal and will also need regular visits to the vet for injections. He has arthritis in his right back leg and you can tell when the medication is wearing off as he starts to struggle to get up. He has been left with lots of house sitters during his life and doesn’t seem to stress about different people being around the place.
We also have five chooks that need feeding and the eggs collecting each day which of course will supply you with fresh eggs!
Our three bedroom home is about four kilometres from the small town of Trafalgar where there is an IGA supermarket and various other shops to provide immediate needs. The larger towns of Warragul and Moe have larger supermarkets if needed. Warragul also has an excellent hospital and the medical clinic, vet and dentist in Trafalgar are outstanding. We also have pathology and X-ray etc services in the town.
Our home has reverse cycle air conditioning if needed but we tend at this time of the year to use the wood fire which does keep us cosy and usually can keep burning all the time. There is a supply of wood in the wood shed but you may need to source more during the time we are away. A contribution towards the electricity costs would be appreciated but not essential if reverse cycle is not used.
We have had numerous house sitters before and all have enjoyed their time at our home and some have returned for repeat visits!
