Hi! I'm a public service manager based in the city. I recently sold my house in Belair but I am not ready to sign up for a new place yet, as I am thinking of travelling overseas within the next twelve months.
I am ideally seeking a place close to the city.

I am an experienced house sitter and recently completed some long-term house sitting in Fulham.

My Belair house was the second house I have owned, and I know how hard it can be to leave your house to someone else for an extended period. I'm handy around the house, and I have renovated and maintained both houses, as well as some odd household maintenance for friends.

I'm a clean living person. I prefer a good book to TV. I'm tidy and frugal, I don't smoke, I'm a vegetarian and a recycler, and I love to stay fit. Belair is a little hilly for my bike so I'm sure a flatter suburb would help me get more exercise!

I've always been a dog person, I can't remember not having a dog and they are also great for keeping me fit. I'm happy with cats too, but I have to confess it was always the dog I was closer to as a kid.
I don't mind a bit of gardening on weekends, and as my last house had a swimming pool, I am happy to keep yours maintained.

I'm not into loud parties or music, but occasionally I like to have friends around for a couple of wines and some dinner. I have a young daughter who I like to spend weekends with.

I'm a former Mitcham City Councillor so I'm well aware of all kinds of issues that effect homeowners, particularly in the Mitcham Council area.

Unfortunately I do not yet have a police clearance I can show you, but depending on timeframes I am happy to get one for you.

I know it's not easy choosing a stranger to look after your house and belongings. But I am happy to meet you and provide references.
