About this house sitting position in Gawler

We live on the edge of the Barossa Valley in a cottage in which, until earl 2024, has been a popular venue for garden weddings. We have been members of the SA and Australian open garden schemes and our garden has been featured on TV. But now, having recently retired, it is just home to us and our Labradoodle-Jazz who loves people! The garden is pretty much maintenance free through winter but if you are gardeners there is always pottering that can be done! We have family that are only minutes away in case of an emergency and a close friend around the corner who is a builder and can help out if any issues arise.
We need someone who will be around the place most of the time. Our previous house sitters have loved sitting in one of our gazebos or by the pool with a good book.
Our home has slow combustion heating and reverse cycle A/C.
Public transport (train/bus) is in close proximity and the main shopping areas, accessible by public transport are only a 2 minute drive away.
Across the road from the South Para river and beautiful walking trails, ours is a very secure property in a quiet neighbourhood.
