Sorry for the very late notice - our dog minder has a family emergency!!
We have delightful dog named Mayze. She lives with my partner and I in a comfortable house in the inner-north suburb of Hackett, right at the base of Mt Majura. Though it is a 2 storey house, all of the living areas are on the upper level with the garage downstairs. Our recently renovated home is close to the local IGA, Dickson Woolies and the city centre. One of our favourite aspects of the new reno is the large back deck, looking over the trees and hills of Canberra - on most days we will be visited by the local magpie family, the gang gangs, the galahs, a large variety of colourful parrots and, of course, the cheeky cockatoos!
We are travelling to Queensland to visit my father and grandson and would love for a caring soul/s to look after our precious Mayzie. She is extremely gentle and well behaved and would love to accompany you on walks up on the Mt Majura Reserve or to the nearby off-lead areas. She is most accustomed to walks in the morning and at the end of the day but will happily accept more, if you are willing!
