About this house sitting position in Meredith

We have a small sheep farm, with both merinos and crossbreds. Our ewes will be lambing in late August/early September, soon after we return. However, it means the sitter will need to be able to feed stock (with 4WD and trailer) 2-3 times per week. Also check water troughs are full. We also have 3 sheep dogs, friendly and well behaved and an old cat. They all need feeding twice per day. The dogs also need excercise.
The garden may need some minor lawn mowing, but given the time of the year it will be minimal.
We have a 3 bedroom house, with all amenities including mobile broadband internet. The property is situated 8 km out of closest town which has a post office/general store, pubs and fuel available. It is 50km from both Geelong and Ballarat and 1hr 30min from Melbourne CBD, 45 minutes from Avalon Airport. The property and surrounds are very peaceful and quiet. We have a permanent creek and gold mines along the creek, along with some steep gorges. We also have dams on the property. For these reasons we cannot accept sitters with children.
