About this house sitting position in Northcliffe

Hello!
I live in my clean, comfortable, modest, one bedroom transportable house with a large three bay shed on a 1600 sq mtr block in a small country town in the South West of WA; nearby to Pemberton and approx. 50 kms from Manjimup, where I shop every 7-10 days.

Northcliffe is situated near karri, marri and jarrah forests, National Park and is 27 kms from Windy Harbour. The area is known for its orchids and wildflowers in springtime and the Bibbulmun Track and Munda Biddi Trail are nearby. There is a small local supermarket, noodle bar, co-op, museum, library, art gallery, op shop, pie shop, visitors centre, pub and workers club (including meals) in the town, as well as 4G mobile phone and internet reception.
NB I do not possess a television and my android device is my entertainment "hub", apart from a cd player! SorryI 😕.

My reason for registering with Mindahome is all about the DOG!!

I took on an (8 years old this May) active, male Red Heeler (working breed) cross dog, after his owner/my neighbour died October 2022; though I had planned not to have anymore pets!

Although Davon the dog, came with a few behavioural issues, he has responded well to stability, daily walks/exercise and positive reinforcement techniques but still needs to be treated with patience and understanding; for example, when meeting people unknown to him. He relaxes considerably, if he is given time and space to meet and greet people at his own pace.

He is also cautious and wary of dogs unknown to him and will tend to set boundaries ie growl, as a warning sign, if he is unsure of them or they invade his "space".

Once trust has been formed, as with a number of locals (people) in the town, he will want to greet them.

Davon does not like being left alone for long (he has had a tough life) and needs a fit, friendly and heart-centred companion with dog behavioral skills; whilst I am on a few trips I need and plan to make this and next year.

If you would like to know more, please don't hesitate to contact me.

PS Don't be alarmed by the second photo. Davon takes his ball catching very seriously😊!!! He actually is an adorable dog, once you get to know him.
