About this house sitting position in Pinjarra Hills, Brisbane

We are looking for someone to house sit and care for our chooks, geese and two dogs. One of the dogs – a 4 year old Great Dane cross, should be walked daily. The other dog, a Kelpie/Border Collie cross, is getting old and can only walk short distances; she requires oral medication to be administered twice daily. They are inside dogs, but have plenty of room to run around outside. The chooks and geese need to be feed and given fresh water daily. Their pens need cleaning out fortnightly or as required. Some interest in gardening would be appreciated, but is not necessary. You’ll hear and see lots of wild birds.

We live on 2.5 acres, in a one-level 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom house which also has a separate guest room that has its own ensuite. There are no stairs except for one step down from the back patio. There is a pool, and a spa in the main bedroom’s ensuite. There is a fireplace in the main living/TV area. Internet is available - ADSL2.

A bus stop is a 10 minute walk away and a suburban shopping centre which includes a supermarket, restaurants, fruiterer, bakery, gym, bottle shop and tavern is a couple of minutes drive away.
