About this house sitting position in Fairfield

Hello!

I am seeking a pet sitter to look after my affectionate dog (Monty) whilst I am away for a period of approximately 1 month over December and January.

My leafy home is located in Fairfield, Brisbane, within walking distance from local parks and shopping centres, as well as the train which goes straight to the city. It’s also walking distance from the university of Queensland, and within a 10 minute drive of west end and south bank.

Monty is a 6 year old, active dog who needs at least a walk a day (there's lots of lovely parks along the Brisbane River within the neighborhood). She’s affectionate and loves cuddles / snoozing throughout the day after a walk in the morning.

The house has air-conditioning and sliding doors which open up the main living areas and bring in cool air. There is a large veranda and big garden space, making the house feel very connected to the green spaces around.

I am looking for an individual who would be interested in living in my room (which is large and light-filled, contains a king sized bed and lots of storage), care for Monty whilst I am away, and share my home with my current lovely housemates.

There are currently two housemates living in the home. Everyone is busy and works fulltime. We enjoy sharing spaces and cooking together but are also considerate of each others personal space. The house is and a quiet zone - we keep things pretty quiet during the week to be respectful of each others schedules. We are a close knit and chill household - definitely not a party house.

All housemates are aged in their late 20s to mid-thirties, are clean, tidy, respectful, friendly and quiet. One of the two housemates lives downstairs in a semi-self contained apartment, and the other lives upstairs with me. Luckily, the house is large, with three separate bathrooms. There's plenty of space for everyone. You'll have your own bathroom and have a private study for your use (your private spaces are bedroom, study and bathroom).

Monty is lovable with humans but isn't reliably friendly with other dogs, so unfortunately we can't have any other animals in the house.
