Brisbane Summer months span December-February with  average temperatures around 30C, the summer months also have some extremely hot days.  Winter is June-August with pleasant average temperatures of around 17C and sunny.

In downtown Brisbane you find a unique combination of the old and the new - where sandstone buildings  blend seamlessly with steel and glass skyscrapers, where modern architecture is teamed with a healthy respect for tradition.

Brisbane River and city skylineMany  parks and gardens are within close proximity to the city and longest river in South East Queensland, The Brisbane River,  snakes and twists itself right through the centre of town.  Canoe down this beautiful river for sightseeing with a difference and view the picturesque city at water level as you silently glide on past Brisbane sights such as South Bank and the Story Bridge.

Moreton Bay
This marvelous paradise is only 25 kilometers from Brisbane’s CBD and stretches fromMoreton Bay Queensland Bribie Island in the north to the Southern Bay Islands.

An opportunity to hand feed the dolphins or indulge in some of the world’s best diving, explore your adventurous spirit and try your hand at sand tobogganing and quad biking!!

Bribie Island
Bathed in sunshine most of the year, Bribie Island is the best holiday escape if you are looking for something a little different. Have you dreamt of holidays by a white soft sandy beach, clear calm water lapping the shoreline and getting locally caught fish and chips for lunch? Well you were probably dreaming of Bribie Island – which delivers many of these dreams and much more. This Queensland Island is Mooloolaba Queenslandconnected to the mainland by bridge so easily accessible and only 45 minutes from Brisbane airport.

Mooloolaba  is a good mix of Beaches,  Parks, Harbour and shopping with fabulous views. 

Surf some of the best waves or stretch out on the beach then when you are ready take a stroll around the specialty shops and boutiques. The Mooloolah River is the site of the Underwater World complex housing The Wharf, many quality restaurants , shops and the famous Oceanarium.

The area is a beautiful plateau, situated 70 Kms South of Brisbane and 25 Kms inland from Surfers Paradise. Mount Tamborine has long been a favourite weekend retreat for the city dwellers.

Tamborine Mountain plateau looks down on the surrounding lowlands, across the Nerang and Coomera River valleys to the Gold Coast and Pacific Ocean to the east and over the beautiful Albert River valley and right out to the Great Dividing Range to the west. The Gold Coast view is spectacular by day, and at night it is a mass of  shimmering fairyland lights.  Take a walk among the easy tracks of Queensland’s first national park, eat well at the cafes which feature local produce, see amazing glow worms and do trySurfers Paradise Queensland to visit when the art and craft market is in town.
